DR. Brigid Corrigan - MBBS, FRACS (PLAS)

Dr Corrigan is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon for Royal Perth Hospital with a subspecialty interest in cosmetic and reconstructive breast and hand surgery.  Dr Corrigan is also accredited at St John of God Hospital, Subiaco, Hollywood Private Hospital, the Mount Hospital and Cambridge Day Surgery.
 

Brigid completed her plastic surgery training in Perth and was awarded her FRACS in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the beginning of 2008. Following this Brigid undertook further post fellowship training in Ireland, England and Melbourne. During this time she completed a 12 month plastic surgery fellowship in Oxford, UK, with an emphasis on breast reconstruction, hand and microvascular surgery. On her return to Australia she completed a six month advanced aesthetic surgery fellowship at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, prior to returning to Perth.

 

Brigid is an active participant in the Rafiki Surgical Mission, which organises regular charity surgical missions to Tanzania.

DR. Mark Hanikeri - MBBS, FRACS (PLAS)

After completing his training in Reconstructive and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery in Perth and Brisbane, Mark undertook further training in the United Kingdom in facial reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.  He gained further experience in Cosmetic Breast and Facial Surgery in London before returning to Perth to establish his private practice.

 

Mark has continued to develop his interest in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast and has attended numerous courses and conferences, which have concentrated on these fields since commencing his practice in 2005.

 

Mark holds a Consultant post at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Albany Regional Hospital. He has operating sessions at St John of God Hospitals in Subiaco and Wembley, as well as Bethesda Hospital and Colin Street Day Surgery.

DR. Lip Teh - MBBS, FRACS (PLAS)

Mr. Lip Teh is a consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.  Following 4 years of surgical experience in General and Vascular Surgery, Mr Teh commenced his specialist training in Plastic Surgery at Royal Perth, Sir Charles Gairdner and Princess Margaret Hospitals. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the beginning of 2007.

Mr.Teh's special interests include cosmetic facial surgery, head and neck surgery, all aspects of breast aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, microsurgical perforator flaps, microfat grafting and liposculpturing. He has worked under the tutelage of the pioneers and world experts of the MACS facelift and DIEP flaps for breast reconstruction in Belgium. In addition, he has completed fellowships in hand, breast, craniofacial and cosmetic surgery at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in the United Kingdom; the Universitäts Spital Zürich in Switzerland ; the Mannheim Beauty Clinic in Germany; the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam and the Scheveningen Cosmetic clinic in the Hague.

DR. Rohan Page - MBBS, FRACS (PLAS)

Rohan completed medical training at the University of Western Australia in 1993, graduating with degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.           

After a further 10 years of post graduate training through Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and Princess Margaret Hospital – including  5 years of comprehensive specialist training in all aspects of  Adult and Paediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and  meeting  stringent examination and training requirements of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, Rohan obtained the qualification of Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) in 2003.           

Soon after he was selected to work as a Fellow in Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK, where he developed his surgical knowledge and techniques along side world leaders in Hand surgery, Craniofacial Surgery, Ear Reconstruction Surgery, and Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery.

In 2004 he was appointed as a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Stanford University Hospital in California, USA. In addition to providing high quality surgical care to patients as a Plastic Surgeon working in  an internationally renowned centre of excellence, he was actively involved in training junior surgeons and  publishing research papers.

Rohan returned to work in private practice at the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre since its inception. He is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St John of God Hospital in Subiaco, Murdoch, Wembley and The Mount Hospital.

Rohan also holds positions as a consultant plastic surgeon at Princess Margaret Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He is an Associate Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Western Australia and is regularly involved in undergraduate and postgraduate surgical training. 

Rohan has published articles in The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, and the American Journal of Hand Surgery. He has presented research papers at several international plastic surgery conferences. 

Through surgical aid organizations such as Interplast he participates directly in charity surgical missions to developing countries.

DR. Vij Vijayasekaran - (AM) MBBS, FRACS (PLAS)

Dr. Vijayasekaran is a qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who undertook his undergraduate and post graduate training in Perth.  Following completion of this Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons he undertook an Advanced Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship awarded by the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.  This enabled him to gain extensive experience in aesthetic surgery of the breast (breast augmentation, short scar breast reduction and breast lift techniques), body contouring surgery (abdominoplasty) and rhinoplasty.  Vij was the first surgeon in Australia to complete the Advanced Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship.

Vij also undertook subspecialty training in cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and paediatric reconstructive surgery at several internationally renowned institutions in Melbourne, Australia and Toronto, Canada .

The post Fellowship training undertaken at these international institutions has allowed Vij  to further develop his subspecialty interests in Aesthetic Surgery as well as Reconstructive Surgery.  These Fellowships were undertaken under the internship of world renowned surgeons.

DR. Anthony Williams - MBBS (HONS), FRACS (PLAS)

Anthony completed medical school with honours at the University of WA before training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Perth.  He the worked and trained at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.  He obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery in 2005 after 5 years of intensive training in all aspects of adult and paediatric plastic surgery.  Anthony then undertook further post fellowship training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in the United Kingdom and France.

He was selected to complete the prestigious Mentor International Aethetics Surgery Fellowship in cosmetic surgery at King Edward VII Hospital London, gaining much experience in breast and facial aesthetic surgery.  Anthony also trained at the internationally renown Clinique Bizet, Paris in cosmetic surgery and ear reconstruction.

In addition, Anthony was the fellow at Mount Vernon Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital in London in 2005 further training in general and cosmetic surgery.  He was then invited to work as a consultant plastic surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital. 

In 2007 Anthony made the decision return to Perth to establish his practice in Plastic and Cosmetic surgery. He consults and operates at SJOG hospital, Subiaco and Waikiki hospital, Waikiki.  He also operates at Glengarry hospital, Duncraig and Cambridge Day Surgery, Subiaco.  He also holds appointments publically at Royal Perth Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.  

Anthony is actively involved in the training of plastic surgery trainees as well as junior medical staff and undergraduates.  He participates in the mentoring programme for medical students at the university of WA. He has presented papers at Australian and International meetings.  He regularly lectures GP's and emergency staff on various aspects of plastic surgery.

Finally he is also involved in overseas aid work including work in Vietnam as a member of Vietkids.

Dr Nathan Stewart – MBBS MS(SURG), FRACS (PLAS)

 

Dr Nathan Stewart completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2001, obtaining his degrees in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. While working as a junior doctor, he undertook further education, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy at UWA in 2006. In 2007, he moved to Sydney to complete the Masters of Surgery Program at the University of Sydney, studying the role of white blood cells in wound healing with the research teams at Westmead Hospital.

 

Upon returning to Perth in 2009, Nathan began his specialist training in Plastic Surgery, training at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2015.

 

Nathan then undertook post-fellowship training at St Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns in the United Kingdom for a further year, returning to Perth in 2016.

 

Nathan is actively involved in the training and education of new plastic surgeons, and is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
